Play School Presents offers drama and creative writing classes for students who are new to the world of theater!
About your teacher Cristi Lewis began her creative journey as a child--writing, directing, and acting in her own plays every summer with her mother and friends. She brings that same imaginative, student-directed energy to her classes.
She has 15 years of experience in education--from public and private school classrooms to teaching her own children at home to developing new theater programs for schools and homeschool co-ops. She has degrees in journalism and English literature with experience in magazine editing.
After a move to Mackinaw, she began Play School Presents to fill a need in 2020 for an online creative outlet during lockdown. Play School Presents now offers in-person drama and writing classes for ages 5-18.
Cristi specializes in gentle introductions into the world of theater for beginning students... and in a full-circle moment often writes her own scripts to match the needs of her class. Are you ready to Play?
